
Art with Kerri
Kerri has been working as a teacher and facilitator for over 20 years and thrives on encouraging children and youth (and Grown-ups) to engage with their curiosity in exploring Art. She is a multi-disciplinary artist whose practice encompasses visual art installation, prose and song. She has worked across Canada, the United States and Europe. She has a Diploma in Music Theatre from Grant MacEwan, a BFA majoring in Studio Arts from Concordia University in Montreal and also studied at École Nationale des Beaux-Arts à Lyon in France. Kerri is presently working towards a Masters in Art Therapy with the Canadian International Institute of Art Therapy. Her unique style of facilitation is Trauma-Informed, inclusive and utilizes somatic experience practices to foster learning in a fun and positive environment. She speaks French and English.
Art in the Park
Family Art Classes with Kerri
Ages 5-12 with an Adult
Come join Kerri in Riverdale community park for explorations in Art and Nature in a series of weekly classes throughout the Summer practically in your own backyard!
Classes will run Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:00 at a cost of $15.00.

July 14th-
The Art of Flight: Test the limits of gravity. Make a kite and participate in the creation of a group mobile
July 21st-
Stories and Maps: How many great stories come with a cool map? Make up our own story and map using the park as your inspiration.
July 28th
Weaving In, Weaving Out: Many animals weave to make creative, sturdy and beautiful structures. Come to the park, gather some materials and devise your own nest.
